19-Year-Old Altus Man Arrested For Allegations Of Possessing Child Pornography

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Unit arrested a 19-year-old man in Altus, Okla., for allegations of possessing child pornography.

The OSBI said the case originated in October 2022 when a report of suspected child pornography on Dropbox was given to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

An IP address, that was associated with the account, was located, and the NCMEC then forwarded the information to Altus Police.

On Thursday, a search warrant was issued at a home near South Main Street and East B Street.

The OSBI said Christopher Spaulding, 19, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail.

Spaulding is facing one felony charge of aggravated possession of child pornography and a felony charge of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

Spaulding is being held without bail.

The OSBI was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the District 3 Drug Task Force.
