'Classics Of Rodgers & Hammerstein' Performance To Take Place At Will Rogers High School

The songwriting duo of Rodgers and Hammerstein created several musicals, Oklahoma being one of the most popular.

To celebrate, the Will Rogers Stage Foundation is presenting a special tribute this weekend in the historic Will Rogers High School auditorium.

"Classics of Rodgers & Hammerstein" will feature songs from "Oklahoma," "Carousel," "The Sound of Music," "South Pacific," "The King and I" and "State Fair."

The event will feature a 16-voice choir accompanied by a 28-piece orchestra, along with some local soloists.

Saturday's concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday's show is set to start at 2:30 p.m. at the Will Rogers High School auditorium.
