The Bartlesville City Council will consider enacting emergency water provisions next week as the town's water shortage gets worse.
The city's water levels have fallen to about 62 percent.
If it gets to 60 percent, councilors can add more restrictions, like increasing water rates, delaying the opening of any splash pads, and banning some outdoor watering.
If the city hits 50 percent, it could send rates even higher and close swimming pools for the summer.
