Chouteau-Maize Public School Teacher Killed In Crash On BA Expressway

A Green Country family and Chouteau-Maize schools are mourning after a teacher was killed in a crash earlier this week.

Shelly Snodgrass's car stalled in the westbound lanes of the Broken Arrow Expressway Wednesday evening, police said.

While Shelly's car was stalled, another vehicle hit her from behind, police said. Officers said it happened just before they arrived there to divert traffic around her car.

Her son was in the back seat, but was not injured. The wreck is still under investigation.
