Tulsa Police arrested a suspect in connection with an armed bank robbery that occurred Monday at the Bank of America at 7110 S. Lewis Avenue.

At approximately 1:40 PM, authorities received a call reporting a robbery in progress. The caller, according to TPD, said a white man with facial tattoos, wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants, had fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after the call was dispatched, but the suspect had already left.

Officers identified a suspect vehicle from surveillance footage and began a search of the area. At around 2:30 PM, they located the suspect vehicle near 5100 S. Harvard Avenue and attempted to stop it.

A brief pursuit ensued and Tulsa Police arrested the suspect without incident, police say.

The suspect's identity has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
