A Tulsa man has died from his injuries after being shot in the chest on Sunday, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

A Tulsa man has died from his injuries after being shot in the chest on Sunday, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

Police say, Ismeal King, 36, was alive when officers found him near the Garden Courtyard apartments just after noon. King was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. Police say he died sometime on Monday. TPD says a suspect ran into the complex and officers pursued with K9, but he got away.

Tulsa Police are now investigating this case as a homicide.
