Watch: Ritchie History Museum Director Discusses Upcoming Event Commemorating The 'Ritchie Boys'

An elite group of men who fought during World War II will be the focus of a special commemoration in Tulsa.

On Thursday, April 20, the Tulsa Jewish community will collaborate with non-religious groups to educate about the Holocaust at a free event.

The interfaith Holocaust commemoration will focus on the Ritchie Boys, and the role they played in the war. The event will honor the 300 Oklahoma Ritchie Boys.

Landon Grove, the Director & Curator of the Ritchie History Museum in Maryland, joined the News On 6 team on Tuesday to discuss the history of the Ritchie Boys and the upcoming commemoration event.

Circle Cinema is also hosting a series of film screenings on the 2004 documentary titled, ‘The Ritchie Boys.’
