News 9's Tevis Hillis talked to a Shawnee Public School teacher about the communities need for support to restore the schools after Wednesday’s storm.
“It's going to take a lot to get the community back and going —we are a pretty tight community and any support is welcomed.” said Shawnee school teacher.
The Shawnee Public School superintendent has closed school until the area has been restored.

In addition to her on-air role, Tevis is an adjunct professor for OU Nightly, mentoring over 160 students each semester.
