A new Oklahoma law will require marijuana growers to pay a $50,000 security deposit.
When a marijuana farm fails or gets shut down for illegal reasons, the money would go to restoring the land.
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics says it has shut down more than 800 illegal grow operations in the last two and a half years.
The OBN says it has open investigations into half of Oklahoma's licensed growers.
