Brittany Brewer's family is making a memorial outside of their home to remember her, with the help of the surrounding community.
Brittany was one of seven people found dead in Okmulgee County near Henryetta on Monday.
The corner at Genevieve and Wise was Brittany's bus stop.
Neighbors put up balloons and stuffed animals. Across the street, there is a memorial garden right outside her family's home.
Brittany's dad, Nathan, said he came up with this idea to honor his daughter.
Businesses donated flowers and other supplies. Tuesday afternoon, dozens of people stopped by to build the garden, pray and worship.
There were lots of tears, especially when the banner was unveiled. It reads, "We love you Brittany. Dearly loved. Never forgotten. Forever in our hearts."
Brittany dad said while his family is heartbroken, they are grateful for the prayers and support.
"We all come together as a family and support each other just like Oklahomans here in disasters and bombings and everything," Nathan Brewer, Brittany's dad said.
There are several prayer services and vigils this week. One of them is Thursday, May 4 at 5 p.m. at the Gazebo at the Henryetta Territorial Museum.
