9 - Police in Serbia say a teenage boy opened fire at a school in the county's capitol killing eight children and the school guard. Six more children and a teacher were injured and hospitalized.
8 - The McCurtain County Jail Administrator is placed on leave. It comes as fallout continues over recordings that captured county leaders discussing lynching and killing two news reporters.
7 - The ACLU says it will sue the state after the Governor signs a bill into law banning gender transition surgery for minors. The ACLU claims it's an equal protection violation. The Governor says it protects children.
6 - 1,500 active-duty troops are heading to the U.S.-Mexico border starting next week. It comes as the COVID era policy that allowed the swift removal of people who cross the border illegally is set to expire.
5 - Tribal leaders are calling on lawmakers to override a veto of a bill that would have allowed all Native American students to wear tribal regalia at school graduations. The Governor says each district should set their own dress code.
4 - The Oklahoma House of Representatives approves an up to $7,500 tax credit for students attending a private school, preparing the bill for the Governor's desk. The House rejected a teacher pay raise Senate amendment which Pro Tem Greg Treat called "beyond disappointing." The Governor calls the tax credits "a major victory."
3 - The Federal Reserve is set to meet today, expected to raise interest rates for the 10th time. It comes amid still high inflation and major bank failures.
2 - A Yukon pastor has been arrested after Oklahoma City Police say he had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl. According to online records, Jon Littleton served as a worship pastor and student pastor at Gateway Community Church.
1 - Family and law enforcement have pieced together the names of the seven people found dead near Henryetta. Family have identified Holly McFadden, Rylee Allen, Michael Mayo and Tiffany Guess as victims. Law enforcement say Holly's husband Jesse McFadden is also dead. He was suspected in the missing persons alert for Ivy Webster and Brittany Brewer. The Sheriff says the two teens are also among the dead.
