Students at Glenpool Public Schools initiated a lockout at all school sites on Wednesday after reports of a suspicious person in the vicinity of the school, according to the district.

The district says it initiated the lockdown at 9:05 a.m. on Wednesday after Glenpool Police received the report of a suspicious person in the vicinity of the school.

The district says that all schools will "remain in a secure lockout" while police investigate the report.

According to the district, all students and staff are safe inside the building and no students will be released untill authorities conclude their investigation.
