The attorneys for Death Row inmate Richard Glossip asked the Supreme Court on Thursday to review the recent ruling from the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals on his execution.
The judges denied Glossip and Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s request to overturn his execution.
Glossip is on death row for the murder-for-hire of his boss Barry Van Treese in 1997.
Drummond said Glossip did not get a fair trial due to multiple errors in the case and false testimony from the state's key witness.
