A certified gang member who was out on bond in a case involving the shooting of a six-year-old girl, is back behind bars. This time he is accused of shooting at a woman and her son.
Records show Rocky Serna was in court Thursday on the January case, before last night's shooting happened.
It happened so fast, because he was wearing an ankle monitor.
The man shot at last night didn't want to go on camera because he's concerned for his family's safety. But he said he believes Serna is trouble, and needs to stay in jail.
Twenty-year-old Rocky Serna's bond is now $1.5 million.
Records show Serna was wearing an ankle monitor when he left his home in Sand Springs and went to the 500 Block of North Evanston Thursday night, where the shooting happened.
Police said the victim and his mother were standing in front of their home when Serna drove by in a light blue, Ford, F-150, rolled down his window and quickly fired several shots before driving off.
The victim told police he had received threatening messages from Serna through a Facebook page and police recognized that page as one Serna had used before.
The victim said off camera he saw an evil look on Serna's face as Serna shouted at him before firing. He said the bullets barely missed his mom, and he ducked and ran.
Records show police found the truck in Serna's driveway and a 9-millimeter with auto seer, which lets it fire like an automatic weapon.
They also found spent shell casings in the truck that matched the crime scene.
Records show Serna was previously out on a $250,000 bond for the drive-by shooting in January, where police said he was the driver, when someone fired shots and hit a little girl by mistake.
The victims said they're lucky because the bullets missed them and their house. They've now installed a home surveillance system.
