Suspect Charged In Connection To Deadly Downtown Oklahoma City Shooting

A man has been charged in connection to a deadly shooting that happened last week in downtown Oklahoma City.

Police arrested Teddy Fontenot on May 16 in connection to the shooting.

Police said the shooting happened on May 14 near Couch Drive and Walker Avenue.

Police were responding to another call when a male victim flagged the officers down, saying he was shot.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he later died, police said.

Fontenot has now been charged with second-degree murder.
