The Tulsa Fire Department is helping others learn how to save lives. On Sunday, firefighters trained people to perform hands-only CPR and first aid.
They say doing CPR correctly immediately after cardiac arrest can triple a person's survival chance, yet only 32 percent of victims get CPR from a bystander.
According to statistics, four out of five cardiac arrests happen at home, which is why knowing what to do for someone in that situation, while waiting on first responders to get there, is so important.
Those who went to training also got to tour Station 18 and check out a fire truck.
