A business is doing Something Good by donating pallets of clothes to help hundreds of students.

Tim Metrovich, the owner of Metro Merch, and his team donated seven pallets worth of clothes to Broken Arrow Public Schools.

"My wife and I, we graduated from Broken Arrow, we live in Broken Arrow, we have three stores throughout Oklahoma. So really not just supporting Broken Arrow but Oklahoma and just really wanting to help out how we can," said Metrovich.

The bins have clothes for every size and season. The school district said having clothes on hand for kids to choose from is important.

"You wouldn't believe how many kiddos, especially in our elementary schools, will have issues that come up during the day that make whatever it was that they wore to school today, not a good idea to continue wearing," said Rachel Kaiser, with Broken Arrow Public Schools.

Kaiser said it will help families who are struggling afford clothes as well as families who might experience a tragedy like a fire or tornado.

"We want to help them present their best selves by offering things in our clothing closets that are cool that kids want to wear," said Kaiser.

The district is thankful for Metro Merch's donation, as well as other groups that also help make sure kids are outfitted, no matter the weather.

"We have huge business organizations in town that want to support our schools, and not only are they invested in the community, but they want to give back to the community," said Chase Elkins, also with Broken Arrow Public Schools.

Administrators hope this will take some of the stress off the families and allow the kids to focus on what they need to do to be successful in school.

"A whole lot goes in to schooling kiddos beyond just what we teach them from textbooks. We really want to ensure that we are taking care of the whole child,” said Kaiser.

The district said if you need any of these clothes, or if you want to donate clothes, the best way to contact them is through your school counselor or through their website.
