Man Shot Dead Outside Tulsa Home After Argument, Police Say

A man is dead after a shooting outside a home near Pine and Toledo this morning.

Officers say the homeowner was doing work in his yard when the person came up to his property.

"Someone he didn't know came up," Lt. Bowman, Tulsa Police, said.

The person walked up to the homeowner, and the two got into an argument.

"He was on his property and some kind of altercation, disturbance if you will, came about," Bowman said.

Police say the homeowner then shot and killed the person.

Officers are still investigating what happened and have not released the name of the man who died
