2 Dead In NW Oklahoma City Murder-Suicide, Police Say

Two people were found dead Monday at a northwest Oklahoma City home in what police are calling a murder-suicide.

When police arrived on scene, they found Phillip Smith, 73, and Fern Smith, 70, dead inside the home near Northwest 150th Street and North May Avenue.

A relative of the Smiths called police saying they hadn’t heard from the couple, and they weren’t answering their phones.

Investigators said they believe Phillip shot and killed Fern before turning the gun on himself.

The investigation is ongoing.
