‘All Clear’ Given After Potential Threat Made At Bank In McClain County

A bank in Blanchard has been deemed safe after a potential threat was made Tuesday morning, according to the McClain County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said Blanchard Police assisted them on a potential threat at a bank near Northeast 17th Street and North Council Avenue.

The bank was evacuated out of precaution, according to the sheriff’s office.

The incident caused parts of North Council Avenue to be closed as authorities investigated, but the roadway is now clear.
