New Contest Highlights 2023 Rush Springs Watermelon Festival

The annual Rush Springs Watermelon Festival was held Saturday.

More than 50,000 pounds of watermelon were used at the event.

"This is something our town looks forward to every single year," said Rush Springs Watermelon Queen Lillyan Ball.

Events such as watermelon exhibits, stage shows, and even a new contest where people bring in items that look, taste and smell like watermelon.
