Fire Crews Battle NW Oklahoma City Apartment Fire

Fire crews responded to the scene of a fire Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.

The fire was located at an apartment complex near West Wilshire Boulevard and Lyrewood Lane, according to the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

Firefighters said the fire has since been put out. The fire started in a second-story apartment unit, and it was contained to that singular unit, according to firefighters.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
