Ada Man Arrested, Accused Of Shooting, Killing Brother

An Ada man is in the Pontotoc County Jail accused of killing his brother.

Deputies said John Carpenter told them his brother, Paul Carpenter, kicked down his door when John shot him Monday night.

Paul had multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

John was arrested on multiple warrants, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the shooting.
