1 Dead After Aircraft Crash In LeFlore County

The operator of an aircraft died after crashing in LeFlore County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP said, Jerry Hayes, 61, was operating a Moster 185 Paraglider Thursday evening when he crashed.

Hayes was pronounced dead at the scene around 8:30 p.m., Troopers said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
