Disney On Ice Performing "Frozen," "Encanto" At Oklahoma State Fair

Disney On Ice is performing at the Oklahoma State Fair, hoping to inspire the next generation of Disney lovers.

“It’s something we love to do, especially because we see a lot of our younger selves out there, and to be where we are it is very empowering to give back,” Nikki Czuhajewski, Disney On Ice cast member, said.

As skaters get ready for their show, they first take some time for the kids.

“It is so cool because then people can follow their lead and show them how to use skating as a career,” Teslyn Tryon, a 12-year-old spectator.

Students picture themselves as princesses, performing in shows like this one.

“I think I would want to be Belle or Rapunzel,” Tryon said.

Disney On Ice showcases some of the best skaters there are, and it all starts in ice rinks like Blazers Ice Center.

“I started skating when I was four years old at a public skate event, and I just fell in love with it there,” Czuhajewski said.

The performances of Frozen and Encanto are happening throughout the State Fair, September 14-19.

“My favorite number is ‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno.’ It is super fun, full of bright colors, the music is vibrant. We also have the coronation waltz, where we get to see Anna and Elsa for the first time, so lots of magic and it’s very special,” Czuhajewski said.

Disney On Ice wants to remind kids that there are no limits to the magic you can create in your own life.

“Something I always say is, don’t be afraid to dream big. As long as you keep working hard, there is nothing that really can stop you from trying to reach your goals. If your goal is Disney On Ice, you can do it,” Czuhajewski said.
