News 9's Robin Marsh Meets Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin

Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin received the Champions of Health Award in Oklahoma City Monday night receiving the Champions of Health Award.

Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest in the middle of an NFL game back in January.

After a long recovery, Hamlin returned to Playing for the Buffalo Bills this past Sunday, and on Monday night, News 9's Robin Marsh met with Hamlin.

Hamlin said he has taken this setback in his career and turned it into a positive.

"You know we all go through life in our own ways," Hamlin said "We all experience life in our own journey, and I'm just trying to appreciate being where I'm at even though I'm not where I want to be."

Hamlin said his charity, Chasing Millions, is raising money to help youth across the country, and he is also pushing for life-saving defibrillators in schools across the country.
