Person Found Dead In East Guthrie, OSBI Says

GUTHRIE, Okla. -
One person was found dead Wednesday night in eastern Guthrie, police said.
The Guthrie Police Department said at around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a subject located the person's remains near Interstate 35 and Highway 33.
Guthrie Police said they responded to the area near Battle Avenue and Heather Road, and determined the person had been there for an extended period of time.
The Guthrie Police Department has requested assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, and an investigation is on-going.
