Tenants of the Tulsa Promenade Mall are finding new places to set up shop.
The mall shut down in September because of fire code violations and told tenants they had to move out.
Some of those businesses are now neighbors once again.
It's a busy time at Bridal Rentals and More with weddings, homecoming formals and everything in between.
The shop is among 20 tenants forced out of the Promenade Mall in September because of fire code violations.
Owner Brenda Hughes says it was stressful to move 1,500 dresses with only a few days' notice.
"I've rented like five trucks from U-Haul right now just trying to get everything in storage because going from 6,000 square feet to 3,300 square feet is hard," Hughes said.
Hughes says of the 25 years she's owned the business, this is now her fifth location.
"From having to put down a two-month's rent deposit, getting a new sign, getting new racks," Hughes said.
Customers are happy to find the shop just a mile and a half from where it used to be, now at Mini Mall 31 at 31st and Sheridan.
"I'm glad it was just right around the corner and I'm still able to get dresses that I need." said customer Jasmine Barnes.
David Cox has owned Mini Mall 31 for the past 50 years.
He says his mall is now full, thanks to several tenants from Promenade moving here.
"I definitely felt sorry for them and I fell like someone needs to help them out."
Hughes is excited to see some familiar faces.
"Jack, who had the kiosk...I think he's coming here and then the $5.99 Store he has moved down the street... so it's just like a mini reunion," Cox said.
