The mother of a man who’s been missing from Oklahoma for more than a year says she still has no answers.

Investigators say Jeremy Reagan left his house and disappeared after having an argument with family members, and his truck was found two days later with his phone and wallet inside.

Robin Halzle says she spends each day looking online for any reports of human remains found, calling law enforcement, and updating her son’s online missing person files.

She hopes each day that passes is one day closer to answers.

Reagan would now be 41 years old. He went missing from just outside of Oklahoma City in August of 2022.

His mother has no clue where Jeremy is or even if he’s dead or alive.

"The OSBI agent even told me, 'Yeah, people just walk away and are never seen again,”’ said Halzle. “Well, how is that possible? Somebody has to see them? Someone, somewhere!”

She says waiting so long for answers has been agonizing.

"It's at least a year, like at least a year, to get the forensics ran on the vehicle,” said Halzle. “I don't understand that; it's not okay."

Halzle says she will never give up because she doesn’t want Reagan to stay on the list of hundreds of people who haven’t been found.

"If you're not doing it yourself as a family, no one's doing it,” said Halzle. “No one's taking care of it. He just becomes one of the many."

She says she’s been on the phone, sending emails, and sending letters to everyone she can think of- from law enforcement in other states to homeless shelters and YMCAs.

Hoping one day, she will get the answers she needs.

"You have to keep asking questions, you have to keep pushing for answers, you have to find the right resources to help you,” said Halzle. “This has been a very daunting task because I have no clue, like you have no idea what to do."

Halzle recommends people check on their family members, even if they’re adults.

She also says it’s important to get things like fingerprints, tattoos, and dental records in order, just in case something like this happens.
