'It's A Crazy Conference, It Can Go Anywhere': OU Players On The Big 12 Title Race

After all of Saturday's games had wrapped up, you could look at the Big 12 Conference standings and find 4 different teams at number 2 -- OSU, Iowa State, Kansas State, and the Oklahoma Sooners. Now, for the players, they say they can't play the "what if?" game. They'll leave that to the fans at the water cooler tomorrow. They're focused on BYU this Saturday and just trying to get the win.

"I'm not doing the NFL Super Bowl Bingo, but I am just preparing and trying to play my best football and the rest will actually take care of itself," OU quarterback Dillon Gabriel said.

"We've been told it's a crazy conference right now," OU defensive lineman Ethan Downs said. "There's a lot of teams that are 5-2 in the conference and one that's 6-1, you know, so it can go anywhere."

Now, obviously, if I try to break down all the Big 12 title scenarios right now, we're going to end up sitting here all night. It's going to take way too long. So we'll let this week play out, and on Sunday Dean, John and Dusty will try to wrap their heads around title scenarios and what might just happen as the Big 12 Championship game approaches.
