Man Fined $6,700 By Oklahoma Game Wardens For Shooting 2 Turkeys Near Lake Eufaula

Oklahoma Game Wardens said a man is facing several tickets and more than $6,700 in fines after illegally shooting turkeys.

Wardens started investigating a job site near Lake Eufaula and said blood and feathers led them to a shipping container where they found the two dead birds.

Game wardens recovered the birds and say the job site's foreman admitted to shooting them with a pistol.

Regulations from the state wildlife conservation say the man shot them with an illegal firearm.
