Leah Mathews and Sandra Langenkamp are headed to play their favorite game, Mahjong.
“We’re trying to be smarter,” said Langenkamp.
“And better luck,” added Matthews.
“And more patience, it's a very slow game,” Langenkamp said.
But they both say their patience runs thin when it's time to register their vehicles.
“Drats, do I have to go in? Can I do it online? Is that coming up again? So, my deal is strictly convenience,” said Mathews.
Luckily, for Mathews, registering her car just became more convenient. Since November, drivers can renew their registration for 2 years instead of 1. People can choose to pay double if they want that option.
“January 2024, I found out, boom, it's time for me to re-register for the year,” she said.
And after hearing about the 2-year option, she was all for it.
“If I could register it for 2 years, I would just go ahead and get that done, so I don’t have to remember year to year,” she said.
Langenkamp agrees, as registering it annually can be time-consuming, but now with this available, she's got all the time in the world.
“I love it, I think it’s wonderful, I mean, '26 seems so far away, I’m happy to wait that long,” she said.
They both think it will ease the hassle and make the task less of a chore.
“Those who want to have that convenience now have it,” said Langenkamp.
More time for playing board games, less time at the tag agency.
“I’ve got the cash in the bank; I’d do it for five years if I could,” said Mathews.
You can choose to renew your vehicle online or in person.
