Description
Elvis Presley’s fondness for peanut butter banana sandwiches is well-established, but bacon isn't always mentioned! According to Presley’s mother Gladys Presley, the King’s favorite included peanut butter, sliced bananas, and crisp bacon.
Ingredients
- 4 Slices of Brioche Bread
- 8 oz. House made Peanut butter
- 2 ea. Banana, sliced ½” thick
- 8 Bacon Slices
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- 4 oz. Bourbon
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 tsp Red Pepper, crushed

- Candied Bacon Prep: 1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. 2. Mix brown sugar, vanilla and red pepper. 3. Dredge the bacon slices in and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. 4. While still warm, lay bacon slices out on parchment paper. 5. Keep refrigerated for up to seven days.
