The Sapulpa girls’ basketball team held a game to raise money for the school’s special education programs.
In front of a packed crowd, the grey and red teams faced off in the second annual Bucket Squad game.
Both teams got their heads in the game and showed some spirit before taking the court.
Jayla Morton is a junior on the girls’ varsity basketball team and enjoyed spending some time with her classmates.
"It's mostly about having fun and a way to include everyone,” Morton said.
The teams were made up of players from Morton’s team and special education students.
Morton’s proud to be a part of a student body that is so supportive.
"It just shows how much of a family we really are that they are willing to be here to cheer on the other students, so I think it's great,” Morton said.
The teams battled back and forth.
Morgan Talley tried her best to win the game.
Although it finished in a tie, 28 to 28, Talley had a blast.
“It feels great I can't even describe how great it feels,” Talley said. “I just want to thank everyone that came out to support us."
