Woman Accused Of DUI During Fatal Tulsa Crash Arrested

A woman is in jail accused of being under the influence during a crash in September 2023.

Tulsa Police said Kayla Moreno was high on marijuana when she hit a motorcycle rider and killed him.

Moreno was arrested on DUI, failure to yield and first-degree manslaughter complaints after the crash near 21st and 161st East Avenue that killed Sonny Hicks.

Police said Moreno told police she was turning left and didn't see Hicks and by the time she did, she couldn't stop and ended up hitting him.
