Part Of OU-Tulsa Campus Without Heat, Hot Water; ONG Working To Restore Gas

Part of campus at OU-Tulsa is without heat or hot water Thursday morning.

The school said there is a lack of natural gas at the Schusterman Center campus.

The Learning Center and Library are the only buildings with working heat and hot water.

Students with classes in the main administration building or building three should contact their professors about classes for Thursday.

OU-Tulsa said ONG is working to restore gas to campus.

Due to a lack of natural gas at the Schusterman Center campus, please take note of the following:

Students

1. Classes in the Learning Center will take place as scheduled. The Library will be open normal business hours. 
2. Students with classes in the main administration building and building 3: please contact your faculty for instructions.

Staff:

1. Staff who are able to work remotely should do so tomorrow. Staff whose positions do not allow for remote work will be on administrative leave. 
2. Buildings will be open for employees to access equipment for remote work. Staff who wish to work on campus, should dress warmly.
3. Essential employees, please check with your supervisor for your schedule.

OU Health Physicians Clinics and OU Dentistry Clinic Employees AT THE SCHUSTERMAN CLINIC ONLY:

1. Supervisors will contact staff with specific instructions in the morning. 
2. All other clinics, except for the Schusterman Clinic, will be OPEN regular business hours tomorrow.

Additional Information:

1. The Learning Center and the Schusterman Library are the only buildings on campus with working heat and hot water. No other buildings will have heat or hot water.
2. The Merkle Café will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, 1/25. 
3. If you come to campus tomorrow, please dress warmly.
