The weekend is finally here and there's some fun things go on.

Six In The Morning Weekend Anchor Kristen Weaver joins us to share what's happening in Green Country.

From stargazing, to stair climbing, to something sweet, there's an event for everyone this weekend.

Tulsa Welding School Open House

Calling all job seekers: the Tulsa Welding School is hosting an open house for anyone looking to get into the skilled trades industry.

You can get a campus tour, hands on training demos, and information on everything from welding to HVAC to electrical.

The fair is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tulsa Pop Con

Tulsa Pop Con is coming back to Tulsa this weekend, and all the fun is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Anyone who loves comics, anime, pop culture and more can find something to enjoy at the convention.

It’s at the Doubletree Hotel on Yale in Tulsa. Admission is $20 and kids under 11 get in free and must be with an adult!

Stargazing at Claremore Museum of History

The Claremore Museum of History is hosting a stargazing event this weekend.

People are asked to bring blankets to gaze at the night sky, while the local astronomy club is on hand with telescopes.

There will be snacks inside the museum. It’s happening Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tulsa Women's Expo

The Tulsa Women’s Expo is returning to Expo Square Saturday and Sunday.

There will be more than 200 booths and two stages with all kinds of vendors and events.

Everything from singers, to a self defense class, financial planning and even makeovers.

You can get your tickets online and there will be giveaways as well.

Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge

It’s time to lace up your running shoes for the Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge! The challenge is a stair climb up and down the BOK Center.

You can choose between a fun run, stair climb and run which is a 5k distance, and an extreme version of the event that is a 15 km distance.

The first race kicks off at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Sand Springs and Brookside Ice Cream Event

And finally, treat yourself after all that running and stair climbing with an ice cream for breakfast event.

Big Dipper creamery in Sand Springs and Brookside is hosting, with donut bacon ice cream sandwiches, breakfast inspired ice cream flavors, hot coffee and hot chocolate and bubble waffles.

Ice cream for breakfast is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and they encourage coming in your pajamas.
