News 9's Sassy Mama is sharing a great football watch party dish, her root beer pulled pork.
Ingredients
- 1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
- 1 (12 ounce) can of root beer
- 1 bottle liquid smoke
- 8 hamburger buns
- Spicy bread and butter pickles
- Head Country barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Slow Cook: Place pork tenderloin in the bottom of slow cooker. Pour liquid smoke and root beer over the top. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on Low for 8 hours.
- Shred: Once pork is done remove from pan and shred with a fork. Place into bowl and add in 1 cup of barbecue sauce as well as 1/2 cup of the juice from the slow cooker.
- Serve: Serve on a bun with bread and butter pickles.
