Some high school seniors say they are stressed about the delay in federal financial aid known as FAFSA.

The Department of Education said the delay was to make it easier for people to apply.

Counselors say it's making it harder for some future college students to decide where to attend school.

"Seniors are stressed right now anyway," said high school college counselor Lesli Zeagler. "They know that within eight to 12 months, their life is going to be very different."

One student said it's very, very hard to meet the deadlines.

There was a glitch earlier this year in the application that education leaders said has been resolved.

Students have until June 30th to apply.
