A Tulsa organization wants to educate marginalized communities on artificial intelligence through an event called "Hack the Future: Greenwood."

The goal of the event is to show how people can use A.I. to improve our quality of life instead of replacing it.

During the event, people will be able to interact with A.I. technology and Chat GPT, to see how it can be used to their advantage in areas like entrepreneurship, creative expression, and education.

Tyrance Billingsley is the founder of Black Tech Street. He said he wants everybody, particularly African Americans, to be prepared for A.I. jobs of the future.

"We want adults and everybody of the future to be ready to get the A.I. jobs of the future, to be the A.I. entrepreneurs. And most specifically to not be left out of the fourth industrial revolution that could fundamentally alter the socioeconomic position of African Americans, or widen the gap in a way that’s almost irreparable," Billingsley said.

"Hack the Future: Greenwood" is taking place on February 22 and 23 at the Greenwood Cultural Center. It is open to anyone who wants to learn about artificial intelligence.
