A candlelight vigil to remember Owasso student Nex Benedict is at Redbud Festival Park in Owasso on Sunday evening.
The organizer is the mother of a senior at Owasso High School and says the students inspired her to host this vigil.
Organizers said they are not sure what to expect tonight.
On Saturday, hundreds showed up in support of Nex at a candlelight vigil in Oklahoma City.

They said it could be a small gathering for family and friends impacted by Nex's passing or the entire community of Owasso could show up.
They ordered 600 candles to make sure they had enough.
Anna Richardson said she decided to host a vigil because her son and his friends came to her asking what they could do after Nex's passing.
She said as a mom she is heartbroken at the loss of a 16-year-old child and felt called to action.
She said this incident was tragic for students and for her son, it's been a cloud over Owasso High School, and students are working to deal with their emotions.
"The kids are so affected and they want to feel like they have another outlet and a way to come together," said event organizer Anna Richardson. "So they did not know Nex but felt very deeply that we needed to do something."
Richardson said she spoke with Nex's family and they told her they are grateful for the community support.
The vigil starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Redbud Festival Park near 76th Street and Main.
