Tulsa police arrested a man wearing nothing but underwear and a t-shirt wrapped around his face when he was accused of robbing a restaurant worker.

Police said he shoved the worker and stole his phone, then went to a nearby gas station and tried to carjack two women near 31st and Mingo.

Police say that Jeremiah Olson sprayed gasoline on the two women right before trying to steal their car. Police were nearby since they were already investigating the robbery.

The surveillance video shows Olson walking up to a worker at Pho Da Cao and attacking him.

“Gone into a restaurant at 31st and Mingo, went in had a shirt tied around his face, and he went in there to rob them to some degree," said Captain Richard Meulenberg.

Olson was wearing a t-shirt on his face and blue boxers when he shoved the manager against the wall and took his phone.

An employee said the customers left in fear.

“Steals his cell phone then leaves the store," said Meulenberg.

Meulenberg said the manager got his phone back and called the police but Olson took off to a nearby QuikTrip where the chaos continued.

“At the gas station he encounters a woman and her daughter and starts acting erratic," he said.

"Grabbing the pump and spraying her with gasoline. He jumps in the car and attempts to steal it.”

Meulenberg said the woman’s daughter was screaming so Olson didn’t get away with their car before police arrived.

Police said it's an example to always be aware of your surroundings because these things happen so fast.

"Looking out for dangers in our world and help each other out, look out for one another.”

The restaurant employee said the manager was doing OK.

Police said Olson is homeless but hasn't been in Tulsa very long.

He was booked into jail for robbery, assault and attempted larceny.
