Home Warranty Provider Issued Cease And Desist Order By Oklahoma

A home warranty provider has ordered to stop all sales activity in Oklahoma following an investigation by the state's insurance department.

First Premier Warranty Corporation received a cease and desist order from the Oklahoma Insurance Department for selling unlicensed plans to homeowners.

The OID said homeowners should verify a company's licenses before buying a policy, which can be done on the department's website.
