OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES (KRQV)

1. This Contest is open to all U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents, at least 21 years of age, who reside in the State of Oklahoma. Employees of Griffin Media, News On 6, 92.9 The River (KRQV) and their affiliated parent and subsidiary companies, affiliated stations or companies, advertising and promotion agencies, sponsors, entities furnishing prizes or otherwise connected with the conduct of this Contest (“Contest Entities”) and their respective officers, directors, representatives and agents, their immediate families and members of their households, are all ineligible and may not register or participate in the Contest. For purposes of this contest, Griffin Media, News On 6, The Tulsa CW and 92.9 The River (KRQV) will collectively be referred to as “Contest Facilitator.”

2. Only one (1) prize may be awarded for the duration of this promotion. Winners from other contests sponsored or conducted by News On 6, The Tulsa CW and 92.9 The River (KRQV) within thirty (30) days preceding the start date of this contest are not eligible to participate in this giveaway. Additionally, any winner of this contest will not be eligible to win a prize from any other contest hosted or conducted by Contest Facilitator for 30 days immediately following the date winner is notified of their winning status.

3. This Contest is void where prohibited by law.

4. No purchase, registration fee or donation of money is required to register or win.

5. By participating in this Contest, all entrants agree (a) to abide by these and any additional specific official rules and the decisions of the Contest Entities and contest officials designated by Contest Facilitator, which will be binding and final in all respects; (b) to the use of information by the Contest Entities for marketing and advertising purposes as allowed by applicable privacy policies and law; (c) to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Contest Entities and their officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability, claims, lawsuits, costs, expenses, fees, injuries (including death), losses, and damages resulting or alleged to result from participation in the Contest, acceptance or use of any prize, and/or from entrants fraudulent or otherwise wrongful acts or omissions; (d) not to sue the Contest Entities for any damages alleged to arise from winner's acceptance of or use of the prize(s); and (e) to the use of the entrants, name, voice, biography, and likeness by Contest Entities without further notice or compensation for promotion, advertising, filing, and dissemination purposes, except where otherwise prohibited by law.

6. “Contest Officials” designated by the management of Contest Facilitator shall be responsible for interpretation and enforcement of the contest rules.

7. Contest Officials shall have the sole right to disqualify any participant for violation of these rules or any other published rules applicable to a specific contest, and to resolve all disputes in their sole discretion. Contest Entities (a) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize; (b) disclaim any implied warranty and (c) are not liable for injuries, losses or damages arising or alleged to arise out of any person’s participation in the Contest. All disputes will be resolved under applicable Oklahoma and US laws.

8. Contest Entities are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, undelivered, undeliverable, incomplete, or unreadable entries. Contest Entities are not responsible for lost entries due to telephonic or electronic malfunctions. Contest Officials may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in their sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrants or Contest Entities representatives. If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned as a result of any causes beyond the reasonable control of Contest Entities including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention or fraud which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, then, Contest Officials reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. The rules can be modified at any time without notice.

9. Contest Facilitators reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to alter, change, cancel or suspend this Contest, for any reason whatsoever, without prior notification.

10. HOW TO ENTER: Participants must attend the Spring Home & Outdoor Living Expo between April 19 and April 21, 2024, located at the SageNet Center at Expo Square at 4145 E. 21st St. Tulsa, OK 74114. Participants must then locate the Tesla Cybertruck on display and take a selfie or photo of themselves with the truck in the background of their photo. To be eligible, photo must contain participant’s face and the Tesla Cybertruck. To enter, participants must upload this photo to their Facebook account and tag the 92.9 The River Facebook page in the copy of the post or tag 92.9 The River in the photo. Participants’ post must be set to public in order for Contest Facilitator to view it.

Contest Facilitator will not be responsible for “bad” cellular reception and cannot guarantee access to Wi-Fi. There is a possibility the location has Wi-Fi available, however, Contest Facilitator has no control over on-site Wi-Fi.

All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm CST on April 21, 2024, in order to be qualified for the contest. Participants may enter only once. All other entries will be deemed null and void.

11. GRAND PRIZE: On or before April 22nd, 2024, one (1) grand prize winner will be selected at random. Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) grand prize voucher as detailed below.  

oOne (1) voucher for a four (4) day (3) three-night mini vacation for two adults. Provides accommodation at one of the following popular vacation destinations including: Branson MO, Cancún Mexico, Gatlinburg TN, Las Vegas NV, Myrtle Beach SC, Niagara Falls Ontario Canada, Niagara Falls NY, Orlando FL, Pigeon Forge TN, Toronto Canada, Virginia Beach VA, or Williamsburg VA

o  Total Approximate Value: $1,500.00

12. PRIZE SUBSTITUION: No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for prizes will be allowed except at the Contest Entities' sole discretion due to prize unavailability. All federal, state, or other tax liabilities (including income taxes), and subsequent or related expenses such as, but not limited to, gasoline, insurance, processing fees, carrier and agency imposed fees and maintenance arising from awarding of the prize from this Contest will be the sole responsibility of each prize winner.

Prize is non-transferable and no cash equivalent or substitution of prize is offered. If prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Contest Facilitator reserves the right to substitute prize with another prize of equal or greater value. If the prize for this giveaway is to a venue, park, show, game or other live event that is temporarily closed, canceled or postponed due to disease, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, any acts of government and/or any reason that is beyond the control of Griffin Media, News On 6, The Tulsa CW or 92.9 The River (KRQV), then no substitution shall be provided by Sponsor. Sponsor does not make any representation or warranty about the safety of the concert in light of COVID-19. By accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner and their guest(s) acknowledge the risk of large group gatherings or activities and assume all risks of accepting the Prize, including any and all repercussions associated with the activity, venue, travel, etc.

13. In the event of any of the following, the prize(s) will be awarded to an alternate winner:

a. Prizewinner cannot be reached within twenty-four (24) hours of winner selection;

b. Contest Facilitator is unable to leave a voicemail due to a full voicemail box or because the mailbox is not properly set-up; 

c. Prizewinner does not return a phone call within forty-eight (48) hours of a message left by Contest Facilitator;

d. Prizewinner does not timely return the signed Statement of Prizewinner and W9; 

e. Prizewinner is determined not to be an eligible winner; or 

f. Any other reasons set forth in these rules. 

14. Winner will be notified by telephone. In the event winner receives, or has already received, a prize from any other contest(s) sponsored by Griffin Media, Contest Facilitator and/or any of their subsidiaries, during the 2024 calendar year, such prize values will be combined with this prize value.

Once a grand prize winner has been selected, he/she/they will be required to fill out a W9 digitally or in person and return it to Griffin Media before they can be awarded. Grand Prize winner(s) has 30 days from the time of being notified of winning to return their W9 to Griffin Media. Failure to return a filled out W9 could result in the grand prize winner being disqualified and their prize(s) revoked by Contest Facilitator, with or without notice.

15. Contest Facilitator is not responsible or liable for any damages incurred during the mini vacation. By accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner and their guest(s) acknowledge and assume all risks of accepting the Prize, including any and all repercussions associated with the activity, venue, travel, etc.

16. Odds of winning depend on the number of contest entries received.

17. This promotion is in no way sponsored or endorsed by Facebook or Meta.

19. By participating in and winning this contest, the grand prize winner agrees to the Terms and Conditions provided by the promoter. Full Terms and Conditions are included below:

Processing Fess, Government Taxes, Carrier, and Agency Imposed Fees are Required and to be Paid by Registered Individual who must be one of the Travelers.

Registration of promotional travel certificate: must occur within 6 months from the issue date, by the individual that received this certificate. Certificates registered outside of the registration period are subject to being voided. Only one registration per certificate number is eligible. Registration is performed online @ gocrv.com. Registration process requires the registering individual to provide their complete name and contact information, along with a valid email address and contact phone numbers. The email address provided will require opt in validation at the start of the registration process. Following a successfully completed registration, a registration confirmation email will be sent. Registration requires acknowledgement of review and understanding of terms and conditions as well as agreeing to being contacted by Customer Service Network Group, (CSNG) its vendors and servicing providers electronically, by U.S. mail or phone on matters related to this promotional certificate. The expiration of this promotional certificate is defined on the face of the certificate. Travel must be completed before the expiration date.

Travel Itinerary Selection: Following a valid registration, the authorized registered individual will select a travel itinerary at gocrv.com. Travel itinerary selection requires two (2) travel itinerary begin dates to be selected, a preferred and an alternative from the provided itinerary calendar. All dates selected must be at least 45 days in advance of the date the selection is being made. At least 30 calendar days must separate the two dates selected. Only valid travel days, dates and seasons will be offered for selection as defined on the promotional certificate. Other travel selections may be required and are based on the promotional certificate, including departure city, arrival city, and or departure cruise port. Cruise itineraries presented will be that of actual sailings. All availability will be determined at the time of booking and confirmation.

Reservation Processing Fee: Following a travel itinerary selection, the Reservation Processing Fee is due. The Reservation Processing Fee amount is NON-REFUNDABLE as defined on the promotional certificate (see Reservation Processing Fee). The Reservation Processing Fee must be paid and posted to the travel certificate account for the selected travel itinerary to be activated. Once the Reservation Processing Fee is paid and posted, the promotional certificate account will be placed in the itinerary activated status. Reservation Processing Fee must be paid within 30 days of the itinerary selection, or the itinerary selected will be inactivated requiring the registered individual to reselect a valid travel itinerary. The registered promotional certificate holder will be notified by email when this occurs. The promotional certificate account may be cancelled (see Cancellation of Certificate) at any time prior to a reservation confirmation.

Reservation Confirmation: Within the defined number of days of the certificate account being placed in itinerary activated status an email communication will be sent inviting the registered promotional certificate holder to the booking facility assigned to the promotional certificate. Booking facility may be the CSNG reservation center or a web page provided by CSNG. A prompt response to the invitation offers the best opportunity to secure one of the travel dates and or itineraries selected. Only named individuals on the certificate account in the itinerary activated status have access to the reservation center, web sites and reservation specialists. Reservation center hours of operation are available online @ gocrv.com. During the reservation process, prior to confirmation, named individuals on the certificate account will be verified and charges associated to this promotional offer will be collected (see Charges section below). Failure to identify all travelers and their accurate years of age at the time of booking, may result in additional costs to the traveler at check in, which will be the responsibility of the travelers. If CSNG is unable to secure availability for the itinerary selected, alternate arrangements will be offered. Following the reservation confirmation of travel, an electronic reservation confirmation with instructions and itinerary details will be sent to the email address on the certificate account within 72 hours. Named individuals on the certificate account may need to obtain other electronic travel documents from travel partner or the travel partner’s website. If airline flights are part of the travel certificate, airline schedules offered are at the discretion of CSNG who will select departure and arrival airports in cities where multiple major airline carriers operate. Flights generally depart between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. and return between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. Flight schedules are at the discretion of the travel provider. Commercial and charter airlines are utilized and no guarantee is made for a specific airline, route or itinerary. When cruise itineraries are included coordination of air travel is required and will require arrival the day before the sailing to ensure sufficient time for named individuals to arrive at the departure port. At least one adult over the age of 21 is required on all reservation confirmations. Travelers under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same cruise cabin or stateroom by a parent, relative or guardian 25 years or older. Confirmed reservations are non-refundable, any changes made to a confirmed reservation will result in the traveler having to pay all costs and change fees associated to the change requested. Failure to check in at the confirmed destination on time will result in the traveler forfeiting all amounts paid. It is the responsibility of the traveler to confirm their travel itineraries with the travel vendor, airline, hotel, resort, cruise line within 72 hours prior to arrival.

Charges: Travelers are responsible for government taxes, carrier and agency imposed fees which are subject to change without notice, per person fees as defined on the promotional certificate (see Government Taxes, Carrier and Agency Imposed Fees), along with charges incurred in excess of this offer, such as but not limited to: ground transportation to and from airports, hotels, and cruise port, purchased additional travel options, travel upgrades, meals other than meals and snacks on cruises and gratuities. Government taxes, carrier and agency imposed fees vary by travel provider, departure cities, destination cities, length of travel, and ports of call when cruise reservations are included. The government taxes, carrier and agency imposed fees are payable to Customer Service Network Group (CSNG) at the time of booking. All Charges at the time of booking are owed by the traveler and must be paid at the time of booking using a valid credit or debit card. Amount paid cannot be refunded after confirmation of travel occurs. Group travel fees of $350 will apply to each promotional certificate (more than 1 certificate) requesting to travel together. Each certificate holder must submit travel requests separately.

Reservation Cancellations and Changes: Cancellations or changes to confirmed reservations are subject to forfeiture of all paid fees. Any changes to a confirmed reservation are subject to additional charges. Cancellation of a confirmed reservation will result in the promotional certificate to be ineligible for future use. This promotional certificate may be cancelled without penalty or obligation prior to the expiration date or confirmation of travel (see Cancellation of Certificate).

Documentation: It is the responsibility of each traveler to provide proper travel documentation, visit travel.state.gov for information relating to travel requirements. Do not depart until you have received a reservation confirmation. All travelers will be required to provide proper photo identification and valid credit card at check-in. Neither CSNG nor the distributor of this promotional certificate assumes responsibility for denial of check-in for any reason whatsoever.

Restrictions: Reservations must be booked and confirmed with CSNG. This certificate has no cash value and is non-transferable or renewable. This promotional certificate is void where prohibited by law and is not valid for distributors, employees, or family members of distributors and employees. Fulfillment of this certificate is the sole and exclusive obligation of CSNG. This offer cannot be used concurrently with any other travel offer. CSNG reserves the right to offer alternative travel dates, accommodations, departure ports, and destinations.

Responsibilities: Neither CSNG nor the distributor of this offer assumes any liability or responsibility for damage, expense, or inconvenience, nor for loss, injury, death or damage to any persons or property or liability whatsoever due to delays and/or cancellations regardless of cause.
