OKC Thunder Playoff Shirts Placed On Paycom Center Seats Ahead Of Sunday's Matchup With Pelicans

As the players prepare to take on the New Orleans Pelicans in the playoffs, fans are gearing up to cheer them on.

Paycom Center will be decked out with free playoff t-shirts on each seat.

It's been six years since Thunder fans have seen the tell-tale sign.

"Every fan that's in the building knows it's time to suit up," said Gayle Maxwell with the OKC Thunder.

A tradition that started in 2010, Maxwell said every fan knows what it means.

"We put a t-shirt on every single seat," she said.

She said every fan knows what it means.

"You know it's playoffs when you see t-shirts on the chairs," Maxwell said.

Ashley Ehrhart loves the Thunder too, she helped place t-shirts on the over 18,000 seats in the Paycom Center.

"I might be a little bit biased, but I think the Thunder is going to win it all," Ehrhart said. "You can't help but look around this arena and get excited."

Ashley will be there cheering on the team come Sunday, looking out at a sea of white.

"It's a small touch but it goes such a long way for the fan experience," she said.

For each home playoff game, the seats will don new shirt with a new design for Thunder fans.

"Fans know and they've bought in and are ready to bring the energy and they want their shirts."

The team just has to keep on winning.

Game 1 against the Pelicans is at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City with an 8:30 p.m. tip-off.
