2 Inmates Killed During Disturbance, Lawton Correctional Facility Under Lockdown

Two inmates are dead and multiple are injured after a disturbance at the Lawton Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility on Friday, according to the Department of Corrections.

Two inmates were transported to the hospital, one by med flight, and multiple others were treated at the facility, the DOC says.

The DOC says the disturbance was "security threat group related."

The DOC has not released the names of the inmates that were killed.

The disturbance is currently being investigated and the facility is under lockdown.
