1 Arrested After Shooting, Police Pursuit In NW Oklahoma City

A shooting in northwestern Oklahoma City led to a police chase that ended in a single arrest, police say.

Oklahoma City police said they responded to a shooting near North Western Avenue and Northwest 122nd Street, where they said one victim was taken to a hospital by a personal vehicle.

James Harper was arrested after fleeing the scene and leading police on a pursuit.

According to OCPD, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol was called in to assist, with OHP eventually performing a tactical maneuver to bring the pursuit to an end near Northwest 63rd Street and Interstate 235.

Police say the shooting victim is okay.
