1 Injured After SW Oklahoma City Shooting

One person was injured after a shooting Wednesday morning in southwestern Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said a male juvenile arrived at a hospital near Southwest 42nd Street and South Western Avenue with a gunshot wound.

OCPD said the victim was questioned by officers, however gave multiple explanations as to what happened.

According to OCPD, the victim suffered injuries to his hand and abdomen after someone tried to steal his car.

The victim told police he had met his assailant on social media.

OCPD said the victim was treated and released from the hospital.
