Oklahoma Representative Jon Echols Discusses Tone In Republican Party After RNC

Thursday at the Republican National Convention, former President Donald Trump accepted his party's nomination for president.

Oklahoma Representative Jon Echols (OK-90) was there and says Republicans should feel confident going into November.

"That's what was interesting about this convention. The entire tone was about power back to the average citizen. That's who had that's who has the authority, not the big bosses, not the large corporations." Said Echols. "It really set a new tone and hopefully, a very positive."

After Trump's speech Thursday, the Biden Harris campaign released a statement criticizing him over abortion rights, the economy, and January 6.
