Tishomingo Intersection Where 6 Teens Died Will Convert To Roundabout, ODOT Says

The State Department of Transportation will install a roundabout at the intersection in Tishomingo where six teenage girls were killed in a wreck.

Investigators said the teen driver, who was high on marijuana at the time, failed to come to a complete stop before turning onto Highway 377.

An oncoming semi-truck crashed into the car, killing everyone inside.

ODOT will now transform the intersection form a "Y" to a roundabout.

The department hopes for construction to start sometime next year.
